October is one of my favorite months. Fall is in full swing on the east coast, the days are cool and crisp, it's finally sweatah weatha, and it's my wedding anniversary month. When we got married 13 years ago (today!) I was as much about the neutrals as I am now. I wanted all classic everything and we went with white and green with a touch of brass and gold for our colors, lots of candles and tons of texture. It seems that part of my personal style and taste hasn't changed much in that sense.
This month I'm all about that dark olive/hunter green with a touch of brassy peach and of course, lots of depth and texture. Lately I'm using a lot of these tones in my original paintings and in my wardrobe. You can see what I'm currently coveting and inspired by on Pinterest. I'll also be sharing a lot of new work on the site soon and I can't wait to share it all. I give a lot of sneak peeks and post BTS on my Instagram stories that you can check out!
What's inspiring you this month? Happy October!

I have been coveting the Hunter Lounger by Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams forever and now it's on sale. Seriously contemplating selling a sofa in my living room to make room for this gem. I love the clean lines of this lounger and that evergreen color is giving me LIFE. Plus, I love how it's styled in this photo with that fabulous throw draped over the front and all of the brass accessories.
The fall is my favorite season to go to the beach. The light is spectacular and the colors of the ocean are so bright. Plus, no crowds! On this day out in the Hamptons the water looked green and so rich and alive. You can find this image in my photography shop.
The sky in Greece was so perfect every single day. Sunsets looked like creamy sorbet. This image is coming to my shop soon as a small format piece but you can see it on my Instagram right now.
This was the last art piece that I created in my home studio right before I moved to my new space. The colors have inspired a whole new series. Find it in my art shop.
All black and leather pants? Yes, please. Via Pinterest.
This floral arrangement via Oh Happy Day! is everything. I love how the stems look like they're dancing.
