On March 15th from 11am to 2pm I am opening the doors to my Studio to share my work and space with you as part of the River Arts Salon Sundays program! Save the date!
Salon Sundays are inspired by the French salons founded in the 18th century as a means for artists to gather and show their works in large numbers. Artists filled the walls, floor to ceiling, exhibiting anything and everything for the public and each other. Salons drew intellectuals, writers, poets, sculptors, painters, printmakers, supporters, and those interested in engaging with the creative community.
It's going to be a fun, laid back event and a chance for people to see my work space and paintings in progress as I get ready for some exciting shows this year including the River Arts Studio Tour in April.
